The Executive Chairman of Kaura Local Government Area, Hon. Sankyai Obadiah, has congratulated former lawmaker Senator Danjuma Tella La’ah on his coronation as the Maji-Kiran Jama’a by the Emir of Jema’a, His Royal Highness Alhaji Dr. Muhammad Isa Muhammadu.
In a statement made available to kadunanews24 personally signed by him, Obadiah described the traditional title as a well-deserved honour that reflects Senator La’ah’s long-standing record of service, humility, and responsiveness to public needs.
He noted that the meaning of the title; “the one who hears the call of the public”, mirrors the senator’s leadership style and his commitment to the welfare of the people.
“This prestigious title is a testament to Senator La’ah’s outstanding leadership, dedication, and service to humanity,” the chairman said.
Hon. Obadiah commended the Emir for acknowledging Senator La’ah’s impact through the conferment of the prestigious title, which he said would further inspire grassroots leadership across the region.
“I commend the Emir of Jema’a for conferring this honor on Senator La’ah, recognising his invaluable contributions to our community.”
He urged the newly installed Maji-Kiran Jama’a to remain a beacon of hope and an example to the youth of Kaura and beyond, while continuing to champion development and unity in the area.
The chairman wished Senator La’ah success in his future endeavours, describing the coronation as a “remarkable achievement” befitting a leader deeply connected to his people.
