Our attention has been drawn to a false and misleading story making the rounds in certain media platforms, specifically on Daily Post and Gistlover online platforms, alleging the demise of Apostle Dr. Emmanuel Nuhu Kure, Founder and Vision Pioneer of the Throneroom (Trust) Ministry, Kafanchan.
This reckless publication is not only false, but also deeply irresponsible, and has caused undue panic, confusion, and emotional distress among friends, followers, and well-wishers of Apostle Kure both within and outside Nigeria.
The actual story is the announcement of the death of a Catholic Priest, Rt. Rev. Msgr. Emmanuel K. Kure by the Archdiocese of Kaduna.
We wish to categorically state that Apostle Dr. Emmanuel Nuhu Kure is alive, healthy, and carrying out his spiritual and humanitarian duties as always. At no point has his health or wellbeing warranted such unfounded speculation or false reporting.
Furthermore, the use of an unrelated or misappropriated picture in association with this fake story is not only a violation of privacy and journalistic ethics but also a malicious attempt to lend false credibility to a baseless report.
We call on Daily Post and Gistlover publishers of this erroneous information to immediately retract the story, issue a public apology, and take down all related posts, images, or materials that continue to mislead the public.
We urge the general public, especially members of the Throneroom family, to remain calm and disregard these rumors in their entirety. Apostle Kure remains committed to his divine calling and the ongoing work of national and spiritual transformation.
Let this serve as a reminder to all media practitioners and content creators to adhere to the ethics of responsible journalism by verifying facts before publication and respecting the dignity of individuals.
Signed,
Richard Pius Garba
