The Kaduna State Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Comrade Yunana Barde, has marked his first anniversary in office with a renewed commitment to strengthening support for vulnerable groups across the state.

In a statement he personally signed, Barde reflected on his one-year stewardship, describing the period as a “journey of service” shaped by the resilience of the people.

He said every community engaged and every household supported had reinforced his conviction that “compassionate leadership” remains vital to restoring hope and uplifting society.

The commissioner expressed deep appreciation to Governor Uba Sani for appointing him to lead the ministry, noting that the governor’s trust and clear vision for a more inclusive Kaduna had guided his actions throughout the year.

He pledged to continue justifying that confidence through transparent, “people-centred service” delivery.

“As we enter a new chapter, I renew my resolve to work even harder for the vulnerable, the displaced, and the marginalised across our dear state,” he said, thanking residents for their continued prayers and support.

Barde prayed for greater strength and wisdom to serve the state effectively in the years ahead.
